Geekway to the West 2010 is excited to be holding its sixth annual event at the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri, near 270. The hotel is conveniently located near a variety of fast food and sit-down restaurants in Westport Plaza, has ample parking, and is only 15-20 minutes from most places around St. Louis. In addition, if you're coming from out of town, the Sheraton at Westport offers shuttle service to and from the airport at all hours. So you wouldn't need to even rent a car!

Geekway to the West encourages all of our out of town attendees to please stay at the Sheraton itself for convenience and to help raise funds and off-set the costs of the venue itself. We have arranged an $89 per night rate for the Geekway, which you can book online here, or simply call the hotel itself and mention the Geekway.

This year's venue has very flexible food and beverage rules - you can bring your own snacks, soda and food. But please note, the hotel has plenty of soda machines, and Westport Plaza is full of restaurants as well, all within walking distance!

There is no smoking in the main gaming area, but there is an area for smoking out on the balcony that wraps around the main gaming area. The space reserved for the Geekway can accomodate 225-250 people, so please be mindful of extra space you may be taking up with large bins of games, backpacks or cases - please leave what you can in your car or hotel room to keep as much room open for gaming!

From Lambert-St Louis International Airport:

Take Interstate 70 West to Interstate 270 South to Dorsett Road, Exit 17. Turn left on Dorsett Road. Turn right on Progress Parkway and continue straight ahead into West Port Plaza.

From South:

Take Interstate 55 North to I-270 West/North. Take Exit 17 onto Dorsett Road. Make a right turn on Dorsett Road, then a right onto Progress Parkway. Continue straight ahead into West Port Plaza.

From North:

Take Interstate 70 West to I-270 South, take Exit 17 to Dorsett Road. Turn left on Dorsett Road, turn right on onto Progress Parkway. Continue straight ahead into West Port Plaza.

From West:

Take Interstate 64/Route 40 East to I-270 North to Dorsett Road, Exit 17. Turn right on Dorsett Road, then turn right onto Progress Parkway. Continue straight ahead into West Port Plaza.
